Sex Symbols

This is my basic drawing final project, Sex Symbols.

It's trying to engage the idea of the moral female nude, the male gaze, sexuality of being in love, and female sexuality. As such I was seeing how I each nude figure be reduced to a symbol, either through the way I rendered the figure as opposed to its background, or through the apparent weird narrative and flat rendering of the white contour drawings. So...yeah.

Watercolor, stencil, graphite, charcoal, photocopy, bristol paper, some kind of calligraphy paper, and some other kind of clothy paper, greeting card.
